First of all. we need to choose an optimal location for the boiler room.

1 Boiler Room Location Arrangement

2 Boiler Room, Auxiliary Room, and Living Room Layout

2.1 We need to properly arrange the boiler room air intakes:

The layout of the air intake has the following requirements.

However, if the boiler length is less than 12 meters and the boiler room area is less than 200 square meters. The exit can have one.

2) Non-independent boiler room.

3) Multi-story boiler room.

The boiler room needs to have more than 2 entrances per floor. Each floor needs to have stairs with direct access to the ground.

2.2 Arrangement of boiler room doors.

2.3 Boiler room height requirements.

3 Civil Engineering Requirements of Boiler Room Design

3.1 Boiler room fire hazard classification and fire-resistance rating shall meet the following requirements:

1) Boiler room fire rating judgment

The boiler room shall belong to the class D boiler production plant.

A single steam boiler rated evaporation to 4t /h or an individual hot water boiler rated thermal power greater than 2.8Mw.

Boiler room building fire-resistance rating of not less than the secondary fire-resistance rating;

A single steam boiler rated evaporation amount less than or equal 4t /h or an individual hot water boiler rated thermal powerless than equal 2.8Mw.

The boiler room building a fire-resistance rating of not less than level 3 fire-resistance rating.

In other buildings within the boiler room. The refractory level between the boiler should not be lower than the secondary fire-resistance rating

2) Class C production plant of  Boiler Room Design

The boiler room located between the heavy oil tank and the pump room, and the light oil tank and the pump room, are both Class C production plants.

Its construction should not be less than a secondary fire-resistance rating.

3) Class A production plant

3.2 Requirements for boiler room foundations

When the boiler room has a multilayer arrangement, boiler foundation and ground floor seams should take measures to adapt to the Settlement.

3.3 Requirements for boiler room roofs of the boiler room design

3.4 Requirements for columns in the boiler room
