1. biomass boiler mechanical descaling.
It is mainly use electric washer, flat shovel, steel wire brush and hammer tools during mechanical descaling. This method is relatively simple, low cost, but high labor intensity, low cleaning effect, easy to damage the metal surface, the scaling is only applicable to small biomass boilers, because its small area, simple structure and convenient for mechanical tools.

In recent years, due to the application of high pressure water torch for cleaning the mechanical descaling make water flushing developed quickly. This high-pressure hydraulic descaling effect is the use of the original machine tool has been greatly improved, and it is safe and convenient. But at present, water torch descaling is still confined to the relatively simple structure of industrial biomass boilers.

2. biomass boiler alkali washing (boiled)descaling
biomass boiler alkali cooking function is mainly to make the scale transformation, at the same time promote its loose. The efficiency is too low if only use alkali cleaning, so it is often need to cooperate with mechanical descaling. Alkali descaling have a certain effect on the scale to sulfate and silicates, but for carbonate scale, the acid descaling is far better.

Alkali washing dosage should be based on the biomass boiler scale and to determine the degree of contamination. The common dosage usage for per ton water: Industrial TSP 5~10kg, Sodium Carbonate 3~6kg, or Sodium Hydroxide 2~4kg. The alkali washing agentia should be prepared in a solution tank to a certain concentration, and then given to the pot by pump and recycled to be uniform.

The new method of alkali descaling and biomass boiler boiling is basically the same, the difference is should open the biomass boiler inspection hole after boiling , and machinery descaling timely (or high pressure hydraulic machinery), so as the loose scal not to re-harden.

3. biomass boiler Acid Pickling Descaling

At present among all kinds of cleaning methods, the pickling descaling effect is good, but if the pickling process is inappropriate or control improper will also affect the descaling effect or metal corrosion, sometimes even will seriously affect the safe operation of the biomass boiler.

In order to ensure the safety and quality of biomass boiler pickling, the state quality and technical supervision department specially formulated the “biomass boiler Chemical Cleaning Regulation”, said, the units that engage in chemical cleaning of the biomass boiler must obtain the qualification of the biomass boiler pressure vessel safety supervision institutions at or above the provincial level. Any unit or individual (including the biomass boiler users) that no corresponding qualification, are not allowed to pickling biomass boiler.

Before pickling, firstly to test the representative scale sample and then make the cleaning plan; when the acid is started, the corrosion index must be put into the biomass boiler and the acid box (and removed until finished). The process flow of pickling and the temperature, concentration, flow rate and time of pickling solution should be implemented and controlled according to the scheme. It should continue to do sampling test during the cleaning process make records well. When finished the cleaning, the biomass boiler unit, the biomass boiler user and inspection department should check the cleaning quality.
