Zozen designs and supplies biomass Turkey boilers for power plants. It can burn sawdust, rice husk, bagasse, coconut husk or mixed with coal. This paper will focus on the special design of biomass power plant boiler.

Special design of biomass boiler

Oven and secondary air:

Due to the low density of biomass fuel, low heat valve, high volatile content and high moisture content, there are obvious differences between biomass boilers and coal-fired boilers. Therefore, the biomass boiler must have a large combustion space and enough height to ensure that the fuel has enough time to burn in the furnace, and the deployment of sufficient stratified secondary air, with the concentrated combustion of volatiles, so as to ensure that the fuel and air are fully mixed combustion in the furnace.

Superheater:

Since part of the Cl in the biomass fuel must be converted to HCl and Cl2, avoiding superheater deposits or ashes is an effective measure to reduce the degree of superheater corrosion, which is caused by the interaction of alkali metal salts, Cl2 and HCl. This series of boiler adopts plate superheater as high temperature superheater, which fundamentally avoids the sediment or ash in the superheater and eliminates one of the reasons that may lead to the corrosion of high temperature superheater.

Heating surface and soot blower layout:

Because the biomass fuel combustion residual sediment or ash of the strong agglutination valve. On the one hand, the heating surface should be reasonably arranged in the design process to keep the temperature of flue gas at the inlet of the high temperature superheater at a lower level. On the other hand, the tubes of the high temperature superheater are made of heat-resistant materials, and the soot blower should be reasonably arranged to prevent the deposition or ash accumulation of the high temperature superheater.
