The economic operation of biomass boilers means to use the lowest cost to make the biomass boilers play the maximum role. The running cost of boiler mainly includes: fuel cost, water cost, electricity cost and staff’s salary and so on. Among them, fuel cost accounts for the largest proportion. If the thermal efficiency of the boiler can be effectively improved, the operation cost of the boiler can be better controlled and the operation level of the boiler can be improved.

Control of boiler fuel consumption can be considered from the following aspects:

(1) fuel selection of biomass boiler The calorific value of the fuel used by the boiler should be as close as possible to the calorific value of the design fuel. If the calorific value is not consistent, it will lead to insufficient boiler outlet force or can not operate at the best working point, invisible will reduce the boiler thermal efficiency or damage equipment. So when buying fuel, should know the kind of fuel and calorific value above all, when necessary should sample assay fuel.

(2) with the heat department in advance with the boiler room contact with the heat department in its required load has a large change, should be in advance with the boiler room contact. It is convenient to carry on the load adjustment to the boiler orderly, in order to ensure that the boiler runs at a more economical working point.

(3) load adjustment of heating boiler in winter, the maximum and minimum temperature of the environment is very different. This requires the heating boiler according to the high and low ambient temperature, adjust the size of the boiler heating. Adjustment mode can be used to adjust quality or quantity, as long as the heating requirements can be guaranteed, the most avoid invariable running state.
